About chuthis. Movement Intensive
chuthis. Artistic Director and Choreographer, Peter Chu, directs an annual movement intensive focused on personal movement research and development. This training program is a vessel for creativity through the exploration of the creative process. A nurturing environment enables artists to build a broader awareness of technical and artistic complexities implicit in movement. Classes in Qi Gong, Ballet, Modern, Body Maintenance, chuthis. Ideas, & Grooves will complement the time spent in process with Peter. In addition to technical and creative classes, special guest educators will share valuable information on nutrition, dance prehab, and injury prevention. This curriculum coupled with structured mentorship aims to foster the growth and success of pre-professionals and professionals within the world of dance.

About chuthis. moves
chuthis. Moves is an initiative to curate a platform for seasoned women educators to share their wealth of knowledge, their passion, and their teaching methodologies with the next generation. Peter Chu and one invited guest educator guide a 2-3 day workshop for dance schools both nationally and internationally.
As a partner in educational programming, Peter works closely with each school’s Artistic Director throughout the season to carefully craft a workshop that supplements the current curriculum offered.
Each customized workshop aims to foster technical/artistic development and mind/body familiarity. Both Peter and the guest educator act as mentors to the students, instructing in appropriate audition etiquette, work ethic, coping strategies, and expectations/responsibilities of professional artists.
